Unathi Mkonto is a self-developed multidisciplinary spatial practice. He works and lives in Johannesburg. The drawings are architectural markings where sculpture and installation are constructed. The work is informed by mark-making and surfaces in using the city as a medium.
Architecture and planning are critical to South Africa communities and how apartheid policies are implemented.
Born in Peddie 1982, South Africa. He studied Bachelor in Architecture at the University of Nelson Mandela to the third year.
